Greeted my daughter with a “Happy Happy fits day” this morning, which she didn’t hear because she was blasting your music. I asked her what songs she was looking forward to the most, and she said anything off of lovesick as well as Achey Bones. Can’t wait!
Wow! That was an amazing show! Got my daughter 1 person from the barrier and she got to watch you all rock with some energy I’ve never seen before. When she wakes up, gave her the day off school to recover :) I’m sure she will be wearing the shirt she got. Thank you all for putting on such a great performance, can’t wait until you can come back to Seattle!
Nico, I don’t know if you read these posts but my daughter and I just saw the show in Richmond , and it was amazing. I’m a 90s alternative / progressive fan and my daughter turned me onto the Fits last year and it rekindled my interest in finding new music. We had a blast at the show and it was an iconic night for both of us (and I’ve seen hundreds of shows). My daughter was right at the fence , center stage, singing every word. She was sure you were smiling and looking right at her! I have some great pics ,videos, and memories from that night that I will cherish forever. It was great reading about you and your dad , and I’m certain that this dad and daughter will find a way to see you again soon. Thank you !
Thanks for sharing a bit of your history with us! I’m excited for the new album. If every song is as uplifting as Cruel Power and Everything you do I may have to take off work to come down from the emotional happy high. All THF music is so positive. I’m looking forward to the tour. Not sure what city I’m in to catch you but possibly Phoenix. Keep up the great work. I also like the sound of that Gibson SG on the live version of Mary that you played on.
Love the message found in your story, that you got to be changed by music in your early years. Now you get to change other people’s lives by sharing your own music 💙
I remember those times lol. Me and klo were just talking about those days!
Just bought tickets for my
Daughter and I for the Seattle show after reading this article. Looking forward to taking her to her next concert!
